About our watches

Due to the nature of vintage & high-end watches, all watches are sold as-is. We will do our best to describe, photograph, and assist you to ensure full transparency but we do not provide any guarantee on movement accuracy, water-proofing, or any other mechanical guarantee unless stated.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear on our website. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

All statements relating to any items sold by The Tokei Club are statements of opinion. We reserve the right to adjust listed or quoted prices and specifications without notice and may also at any time withdraw any of the items without prior notice.

Please be mindful that our products are vintage and preowned, with wear and use. Proper care and maintenance procedures must be taken in order to ensure your timepiece lasts.

Furthermore, as these items have been used in the past, please expect wear and patina from usage and age. Please read all descriptions carefully prior to purchase. Our images should be considered part of the description.

FAQ

How do I know the watch I'm buying is authentic?

Every watch we offer is personally examined and authenticated before listing. We are licensed dealers in Japan, authorized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, and maintain full traceability records for every piece we source. If you have any concerns about a specific watch, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to provide additional photos or documentation.

Are your watches in working condition?

Due to the nature of vintage and pre-owned timepieces, all watches are serviced unless stated otherwise. We photograph and describe each piece as thoroughly as possible, and our images should be considered part of the item description. Unless stated otherwise, we do not provide guarantees on movement accuracy or water-resistance. Serviced watches come with a 6-month movement warranty; unserviced pieces carry a 7-day movement warranty.

Can I see the watch in person before purchasing?

We are based in Tokyo and are happy to arrange an in-person viewing for watches currently in stock. Please reach out via our contact page to set something up.

Can I place a watch on hold?

We handle purchases individually, so please contact us directly if you are interested in a specific piece. All watches remain the property of The Tokei Club until payment has been received in full. 

 

Do you consign watches?

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Do you source watches and parts?

Due to limited availability, we are able to source watches only. This service is available exclusively to existing customers who have previously purchased a watch through us.

Do you have a physical store?

We are online only and do not operate a physical storefront. That said, if you are based in or visiting Tokyo and would like to view a watch currently in stock, we are happy to arrange an in-person meeting.

Shipping and Returns

Shipping

All watches are shipped exclusively through FedEx Express for prompt and reliable delivery.

 

Customers are responsible for all customs charges, duties, or taxes in his or her respective country.

If packages are lost or stolen, a refund will be issued only after the approval of the insurance claim by our insurance vendor.

Returns

A comprehensive 6-month movement warranty accompanies every serviced watch from our collection. For unused or unserviced timepieces, we extend a 7-day movement warranty.

Should any concerns arise within the warranty period, kindly contact us to facilitate the shipping process for repair services.

 

Please note, that we adhere to a policy of no returns or exchanges

Payment Methods

All of our prices are in Japanese Yen JPY unless stated otherwise. All payments and refunds are issued in the same currency unless stated or requested by us otherwise.

Our prices exclude the cost of delivering your goods, as well as any transaction fees, which will be added to the final amount due if necessary. All additional charges will be stated in your invoice.

All watches remain the property of The Tokei Club and will not be shipped until funds have been securely received in full.
