Nicknamed the “Monaco” for its bold, square case that echoes the iconic 1970s Heuer of the same name, this striking Seiko reference is anything but ordinary.
Originally a Japan-only release, this rare gem comes in two killer dial options: A deep, shimmering blue that flirts with purple under the light, or a crisp, elegant white. But let’s be honest, this isn’t just about color. Daini really went off-script with this one, and the result is pure magic.
The square case but be intimidating at first but it’s sculptural: With a mix of sharp brushed planes and sleek polished angles, it wears like a piece of futuristic architecture on your wrist. Add a flyback chronograph, a tastefully placed subdial, and you’ve got a watch that’s as clever as it is cool.
What makes the Monaco so addictive is its ability to surprise. The more you look, the more you discover: Subtle textures, layered details, and a design that challenges the status quo while still staying undeniably Seiko. Sure, it’s unconventional, but that’s the point. It’s the kind of watch that turns heads without trying too hard and somehow, it still manages to pair effortlessly with just about anything.
The JDM example we’re offering here is truly something special and makes the whole experience feel complete: Not only does it come with its original bracelet and tags, but it’s also housed in an export-style box, a curious twist that suggests it may have once been destined for markets beyond Japan. If you're a serious collector or just someone who appreciates standout design, this one’s a no-brainer.
The watch will be serviced upon purchase, please expect 1-2 months to complete before shipping.
Ships from Tokyo, Japan.
Seiko Monaco Chronograph 7018-5000
The chronograph is remarkable and it's unworn: The case is strong with few hairline scratches. The dial is the main attraction here as it is immaculate and the hands are still intact.
The original bracelet is also in immaculate shape with the sticker still untouched on the clasp
The case back looks sharp and has some scratches evidently from contact with the bracelet.
