Seiko introduced its first dive watch, the 62MAS, in 1965. Despite being late to the game in creating a specialized watch for diving, the brand's unique design made up for the timing. The 62MAS was a departure from Seiko's usual offerings and was a success, paving the way for a line of Seiko divers that would significantly impact the watch industry.
The ref. 6105-8000 is one of these divers, and while it may not be as well-known or sought-after as the 62MAS or "Willard," it has been gaining attention among collectors as a valuable vintage Seiko watch.
This version of the Seiko diving watch features signature elements such as a stainless steel case with a c-shape, a crown positioned at 4 o'clock, and a unique externally rotating bezel, making it a notable addition to the brand's diving watch collection.
This 6105-8000 comes with the original Seiko "Tire Tread" XGL731 and its original Seiko box.
Ships from Tokyo, Japan.
