Seiko's 6105 second model, known as the "Uemura" in Japan, is a notable diving watch distinguished by its cushion-shaped case and asymmetric design. It was famously worn by Japanese adventurer Naomi Uemura during his Greenland expedition.
Despite its 44mm width, the watch wears comfortably due to its compact 47mm length and ergonomic design.
The matte black dial features minimal text, with the Seiko logo and "Automatic" at 12 o'clock, complemented by applied markers. This particular variant dubbed the "Resist," adheres to updated ISO guidelines with modified text on the dial and case back.
Offered here is a beautiful example in impeccable condition, it originally retained some remnants of the caseback sticker before being serviced and it is accompanied by its original Tire Tread XGL-731 strap and box. This piece represents a remarkable specimen of Seiko's diver heritage, making it an indispensable addition to any collection.
Ships from Tokyo, Japan.
