King Seiko 56KS 5621-7000 Roman numerals

The 56KS series stood out due to its diversity and boldness, offering a range of designs not seen in earlier King Seiko models. It was also unique because it was the only King Seiko series produced by Suwa Seikosha, contrasting with the rest of the line, which Daini Seikosha had developed over the previous decade. One personal favorite is the Ref. 5621-7000, a model that truly captures the daring spirit of this series.

The dial is the centerpiece, boasting a crisp white finish adorned with printed Roman numerals. One might question the Roman numeral "IIII" for the number 4, but this was intentional. On watch dials, "IIII" is used instead of "IV" to achieve visual balance, harmonizing with the "VIII" on the opposite side, creating a symmetrical, aesthetically pleasing design.

Adding to the elegance, the dial is framed by applied black baguette markers, perfectly balanced thanks to the clean no-date layout. The hands add another layer of character, each with a distinct yet complementary design: a flat, striped baton for the hour, a slender polished taper for the minutes, and a needle-thin sweep for the seconds.

With its sleek brushed finish, the monocoque case allows access to the movement exclusively from the front. This thoughtful engineering is complemented by a clever adjustment feature—a large screw between the lower lugs. Removing the screw provides access to a slotted regulator post, allowing fine adjustments for precision timekeeping.

We're offering a stunning, nearly untouched example, complete with its original straps, the iconic King Seiko buckle, the original instruction manual, and its box. This is a perfect addition for anyone seeking a no-date dress watch with a distinctive touch.

The watch will be serviced before delivery, expect 1-2 months for servicing to be completed.
