This is undisputedly the sexiest 6138 Chronograph and definitely the rarest of all Seiko chronographs. Introduced in 1971, the 23 Jewels version of Cal. 6138B was in production for only one year, and cased only inside the 6138-800x, a Japan domestic model.
Two dials are available: Black iridescent charcoal and pearl white. The chronograph we have to offer is the black dial version also called Reverse Baby Panda. It is definitely harder to find compared to the pearl white dial variation.
This model has a slightly wider and heavier case structure than the usual 6138-8000 Baby Panda and here is why: This dial model has no lume on the dial and the same goes for the hours/minutes hands. The Tachymeter ring and the bezel shape are larger.
This is in collector’s grade condition and is definitely a beauty in the eyes of the beholder!

The chronograph is in overall great condition: The case is strong with just some light scratches. The dial is the main attraction here as it is very clean and the hands are still intact including the red tip.
The bracelet is in very good condition and has few scratches and still retains its sharp edges: You can enjoy the horizontal brushing lines as it still shines beautifully in the sunlight.
